A man has been jailed following an "unprovoked attack" in Borehamwood.

Andrew Eyton - of Monkswood Gardens - was sentenced to 20 months in prison on Wednesday (April 26), having pleaded guilty to GBH without intent at St Albans Crown Court.

The 47-year-old's sentencing follows the discovery of an unconscious man in Shenley Road on October 14, 2022.

CCTV footage revealed that the individual had been subject to an "unprovoked attack", causing a significant head injury.
