The impact of a German-style festival has been hailed by a number of local businesses.
Hertfordshire Oktoberfest took place in Harpenden, in October last year.

German beer, food and activities such as axe-throwing and an oompah band featured in the event.
One local business noted a 40 per cent upturn in sales during the event weekend, while others praised the increased footfall that the event brought.
A spokesperson for The George of Harpenden said: "The Oktoberfest 2022 in Harpenden went amazingly from a business standpoint, on our end.
"Sales were amazing and the footfall in the town made for an almost record week of sales for The George of Harpenden.
"There wasn’t any trouble as well, which is always the big concern around a drinking event, but we didn’t have any whatsoever which was amazing."
A spokesperson for Cafe Jeera added: "What a great event you guys have put on!
"It’s a great way to bring the Harpenden community together and enjoy a great few days!
"The outcome of our business during the period of the Oktoberfest was brilliant, seeing people all over Harpenden and London coming to dine in with us at Cafe Jeera.

The event returns this year, in Hertford from October 13 to October 15, and St Albans from October 27 to October 28.
