The Ukrainian National Opera will be touring in the UK for the first time ever, with performances in St Albans and Stevenage. 

From Thursday, February 9 to Wednesday, April 5, the opera will be performing at various venues across the country.  

In St Albans, they will be holding a show at 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 7 at the Alban Arena, and in Stevenage, the performance will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 8, at the Gordon Craig Theatre.

Coming all the way from Dnipro, Ukraine, this opera company, featuring a spectacular cast and accompanied by a large live orchestra comprising over 30 musicians, will première the timeless Madama Butterfly opera this season.

The Ukrainian Opera from Dnipro's creative development has moved forward in recent years, mastering and popularising the world's classical music heritage and turning to the works of modern composers, music of the 20th century, and in particular the Ukrainian classics.
