A local choir will perform in St Albans City centre for the benefit of two St Albans charities.

The Sopwell Singers will perform at The Maltings and Christopher Place on Saturday, December 17.

Firstly, the group will entertain crowds in The Maltings at 10.45am, to raise money for Youth Talk.

The charity provides free counselling for those aged between 13 and 25, across the St Albans District.

Secondly, the choir will be performing in Christopher Place at 11.30am to support Herts Young Homeless.
