A Radlett photographer has won a prestigious Overall Photographer of the Year 2022 award.

Su Kaye received the award from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP), the oldest association for professional photographers.

Su is following in the footsteps of her father, Paul Kaye, who won the inaugural award in 1977.

Her dog portrait, 'Things Are Looking Up', received more points from judges than any of the 1,200 other photographs entered for the prize.

Su was also awarded Pet Photographer of the Year and Documentary Wedding Photographer of the Year.

BIPP's CEO Martin Baynes said, “The standard this year was by far the highest we have seen in recent history, with many wonderful and creative images in all genres.

"Myself and the judges were blown away by the talent and the creativity shown.

"A number of images from Su scored very highly giving her two category winners as well as Overall Photographer of the Year - a truly impressive result."
