A Harpenden author will be launching her new book in the Farmer's Boy pub, St Albans.

Máire Malone will be holding the book-signing session between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on Monday, December 12.

Her latest novel, Hungry Trails, is a historical fiction about the Irish Famine, set between 1845 and 1852.

Hungry Trails is Maire's second novel to be based in Ireland, with the Harpenden-based author originating from the country.
