St Albans City will get their FA Trophy campaign under way with a home tie against a former league club.

Kidderminster Harriers were part of the top four divisions between 2000 and 2005 but are now in the National League North, the equivalent level to Saints.

They will head to Clarence Park in a repeat of the clash in the same competition back in January 1995.

That game that day ended 3-2 in the favour of Kiddy, Steve Clark and Martin Gurney scoring for City.

The two also met in two Conference National games during St Albans' one-year stay in the top flight of non-league football.

City won the first game at Aggborough 3-1 with Paul Hakim, David Theobald and Lee Clarke on target, but they were held to a 1-1 draw back in Hertfordshire in the return, Leon Archer the home scorer.

Saints have not always had the best of luck in the competition previously although they did reach the fourth round last year before losing to then Isthmian League Premier Division side Cheshunt 3-0.

The matches will be played on Saturday, November 19, with the winners getting £3,750 from the prize fund and the losers £1,000.
