ROUNDWOOD Park's best ever GCSE success is down to a number of factors according to the headteacher.
Nick Daymond said that his pupils' success is largely down to their recognition of the importance of the exams in progressing through to sixth form, college or an apprenticeship.
Added to that, he said the school's students are increasingly able to access courses best suited to their talents and abilities and he said that the quality of teaching, advice and guidance continues to improve year on year.
The school has also had students in Years 9 and 10 take maths, French and German GCSEs early.
Paying tribute to his pupils' achievements, Mr Daymond said: "We are thrilled for them and very proud of their success because we know how much effort they put into preparing for these exams.
