FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspicious car fire in a St Albans street overnight.
The crew from St Albans went to Carlisle Avenue at around 2.20am this morning (Thursday) and found that a grey Ford Escort Ghia had been set alight.
The flames were already out on their arrival but the crew notified the police.
A police spokesperson confirmed that the incident was being treated as suspicious and investigations were ongoing.
