VISITORS to St Albans city centre last Saturday may have been approached with an unusual request - pose for a photograph with a special purple balloon.
The initiative is the brainwave of district Rotary Clubs, and is the first stage in a new awareness campaign aimed at tackling one of the world's most devastating diseases.

There will be full coverage in the Herts Advertiser, so keep reading to find out more about this campaign.
