BEARING up well at a school spring fair, this young lady makes friends with her prize Teddy after successfully guessing its name.
Despite the economic downturn, Townsend School in High Oaks, St Albans, managed to raise 2,750 for the school.
Ian Graham, a former teacher who is now vice-chairman of the school's parent teacher organisation, said: "We were very pleased with the result despite the credit crunch. Most of the money will go to set up computer networks at the school."
All the fun of the fair included chocolate and bottle tombola stalls, books and home-made cakes and a Smash the Crocks game.
