CASH and other personal belongings were stolen from a cyclist in St Albans earlier this month.
The victim, a 35-year-old man from St Albans, suffered minor injuries when a group of men stopped him as he was cycling along Alban Way, near Orient Close. After demanding his belongings and assaulting him, they ran off with his rucksack in the opposite direction to Orient Close.
The incident happened at 7pm occurred on Sunday, January 9, and four men are being sought by police, all of them white and thought to be aged between 18 and 21.
Three of them are described as being of a medium build, with two around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall and one about 5ft 9ins to 5ft 11ins tall. The fourth man was of a muscular build, with a round face and mousey-coloured hair, believed to be 6ft 5ins to 6ft 6ins in height.
