CCTV footage of a woman involved in a theft from a store in St Albans has been released by police to try and trace her.
The theft from the Wilkinson store in the Maltings shopping centre occurred on Thursday July 7 between 8am and 8.45am.
A woman entered the shop with two bags which she put in a trolley. She then filled the concealed bags with stationary items and pet food bags before heading to the tills. She paid for some items but left without paying for the rest.
PC Shaun Woods said: “We are really keen to speak to the woman in the footage or for anyone who recognises her to get in touch.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police via the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
