A POST office in St Albans city centre is currently closed due to an electrical fault that was discovered earlier this morning (September 6).
Fire crews were called to the post office in St Peter’s Street at around 10.15am after smoke was spotted coming from an electrical distribution board.
The problem was isolated but an electrician was called to come out.
At present customers are being directed to the sub-post office in London Road.
