POLICE are appealing for the whereabouts of a model boat worth about £600 that was stolen in St Albans this month.

The green and black boat, called ‘Hilda’, was stolen from a garage in Furse Avenue between Wednesday, February 6 and Saturday, February 9.

PC John Cooper said: “The boat has sentimental value and the owner is really upset that it has been stolen.

“Do you recognise the boat? Has anyone offered it to you for sale? If so, we would like to hear from you.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Cooper on 01707 354192, the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
