A man who began his career in Kenya as an engineer and installer has celebrated 40 years of business in Harpenden.
Tulsi Parmar, owner of AV82, High Street, was recently joined by Harpenden Town Mayor Cllr Rosemary Farmer, friends and long-standing customers to mark four decades in home entertainment.
The audio-visual store was previously known as Bang & Olufsen – with Tulsi the first to host the launch of the inaugural Bang & Olufsen 3D television.
Tulsi described the 40th anniversary celebrations as “one of the best events I’ve been to in decades”.
In a speech to guests, Cllr Farmer praised Tulsi for his dedication to the local business community.
