A Polish man visiting his family in St Albans died yesterday after having a suspected heart attack near the city centre.
The man, in his 60s, collapsed in Gladstone Place, Upper Marlborough Road, just after 2pm.
He was initially helped by a member of the public who carried out CPR before police officers PC Shaun Woods and Iffy Iqbal came across the man and carried on with CPR until the ambulance arrived.
He later passed away at around 3pm at Watford General Hospital.
