A busy city centre road has reopened after an earlier accident which left a man hospitalised.
A spokesman for Herts Police confirmed that officers were called to reports of a two vehicle collision at 3.30pm this afternoon in London Road, near to the fire station.
A blue Nissan Micra and a Lexmoto motorbike were involved in the incident, when the driver of the motorbike allegedly collided with the car in front at a set of traffic lights.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Trust confirmed an ambulance and rapid response vehicle attended the scene at 3.32pm.
The driver of the motorbike was taken to Watford General Hospital after complaining of neck, shoulder and arm pain.
The road was closed until 4.30pm and has now been reopened, though drivers could still face delays.
