Chocolate eggs can be dropped off at Harpenden sports centre and swimming pool to go to people in need.
1Life Harpenden Sports Centre, in Leyton Road, is holding an Easter egg collection for St Albans and District Foodbank, starting on Thursday, April 13 and running through to Sunday, April 23.
Each member of the public who drops off a chocolate egg during this time will receive a three-day pass for the centre.
General manager Matt James said: “Speaking to our members, we know lots of people receive more Easter eggs than they can get through.
“We thought it would be nice if some of these eggs made their way to those who rarely get a treat. To say thank you we are offering complimentary guest passes to anyone who makes a donation.”
