A St Albans church is opening its doors for a ‘revolutionary’ event for young people from across Hertfordshire.
The Vineyard Church in Ashley Road is holding a Revolution Day festival on Saturday, January 20. The day will be packed with talks, live music and worship, and there will also be a host of games, crafts, pampering sessions, food and a youth leader gunge tank.
The theme for the festival is ‘what happens next?’, and will explore what happens after choosing to trust Jesus, as well as asking questions like ‘what is a Christian?’, ‘why pray?’, ‘how can I change the world?’ and ‘what about the dinosaurs?’
Youth leader Paul Lee said: “It is hoped that the Revolution Day will provide an exciting opportunity for young people to come together and encounter Jesus while also having a great time with friends old and new from churches and groups from across the region.”
