Check out these unusual views over St Albans

We’re used to the same vistas when walking around the streets of St Albans, but what if you could see the city from a totally different perspective?

Inspired by recent rare access to a narrow parapet high up on St Albans Cathedral - which offered a fantastic bird’s eye view towards the south-east of the city - we have collated a selection of other images showing the St Albans we love from an unusual location or angle.

They include pictures over the new Gabriel Square development, from the top of St Peter’s Church, looking out from the Clock Tower and aerial views of the cathedral.

If you have photos of St Albans taken from a different perspective then we’d love to share them. They might have been taken from the top of a tall building, using a drone or from a low-flying airplane - the only remit has to be that the view isn’t commonplace. Email us at hertsad@archant.co.uk
