A group of cyclists rode for 50 miles to raise money for a St Albans suicide prevention charity.
The Jollies for OLLIE are a cycling team who meet outside the Jolly Sailor Pub in Stone Cross and cycle to raise money for the OLLIE (One Life Lost Is Enough) Foundation.
For the final 10 miles of the ride, which took place in June, the Jollies were joined by friends and family.
Catherine Breen, who is part of the club, said: “It was uplifting to cycle all together. No matter how small or big an event is, it is the taking part which makes a huge difference just giving for a worthwhile cause. Considering we only had a few weeks to organise this cycling event it was fantastic that £13,000 was raised including a generous charity grant from XL Catlin.
“Thank you to those who participated and donated, you are amazing, it means so much to bereaved parents and the OLLiE Foundation.”
