They will play The Forum Hertfordshire this summer – with the show date and support revealed tomorrow (Friday) at 10am, when tickets go on sale.

The concert’s poster currently describes the Hatfield gig as “a local show by local people”.

The alternative rock band tweeted the news last night (Wednesday) from Japan, where Rou Reynolds, Rory Clewlow, Chris Batten and Rob Rolfe are currently touring.

Enter Shikari tweeted: “TWO special intimate UK shows for Summer 2018.

Greetings from Fukuoka, Japan. x”

The gig will be the four-piece group’s first Hatfield show since the release of fifth studio album The Spark last year, which they supported with an album signing in their home city at Empire Records.

Drummer Rob Rolfe also tweeted that the shows – the other at a location to be announced – will be “loud and hot”.
