IS there a large constrictor snake loose in Verulamium Park, St Albans?
Park maintenance contractor John O'Conner confirmed that park rangers had found a nine-foot-long python skin in the park.
The sloughed-off skin was discovered on the bridge between the two lakes last month but there have been no reported sightings of a live snake.
Dave Baxter, park supervisor, said he would be surprised if there was a python living in the park because it was so cold.
Have you seen a live snake or has your python escaped? If so, let us know.
