POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a youth was the victim of an attempted knifepoint robbery on Wednesday.
The attack happened at around 12.55pm in Oakwood Drive, St Albans.
Two robbers threatened the 15-year-old youth from St Albans with a knife and demanded his mobile phone. But the boy ran off and escaped with his phone.
Pc Simon Smith wants to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or saw the incident take place.
