FORMER pupils, teachers and staff who attended or worked at a St Albans school are being invited to celebrate its centenary.
Fleetville Infant and Nursery School is marking its 100th birthday with a centenary summer party from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, July 12.
There will be a number of different activities taking place on the day including dancing, music and an exhibition, together with refreshments and the launch of a centenary garden and trail - all on the school premises.
Anyone wishing to join in the centenary celebrations is asked to write to the school in Royal Road, St Albans, AL1 4LX enclosing an SAE, phone on 01727 851543 or they can email admin@fleetvilleinfants.herts.sch.uk for further details.
In addition the school is compiling a memories book and would like to hear about any reminiscences people might have.
