POLICE have arrested an 18-year-old Harpenden man in connection with several thefts from motor vehicles in St Albans that took place in the early hours of Wednesday. He has been released on police bail until early November.The arrest follows an incident
POLICE have arrested an 18-year-old Harpenden man in connection with several thefts from motor vehicles in St Albans that took place in the early hours of Wednesday. He has been released on police bail until early November.
The arrest follows an incident at around 1.53am when four cars had their door trims stolen in the area of George Street. Officers are now asking car owners to come forward if they believe their vehicle has also been affected.
Detective Constable John Phillips from the Local Crime Unit based at St Albans is investigating and said: "If you think your vehicle was targeted in the same way or you have any information about the thefts please come forward."
