SIR, - St Albans District Council's behaviour over the parking ticket for the disabled woman with leukaemia (Herts Advertiser, January 19), is disgraceful. They should have exercised their discretion and cancelled the ticket. Did they tell the woman's daughter, Valerie Lyons, that she could take the matter to the Parking Adjudicator? Also how may councillors and council employees have had their parking tickets cancelled? The council should be ashamed of themselves. They are now on my "Wicked Council" list.
