SIR, - I read the article about the 20mph speed limit in Mandeville Drive (Herts Advertiser, April 10) and how it cost £110,000. What an absolute waste of money.
Nobody is taking any notice of it. There are double yellow lines outside the school and round the bend in the road. As there is nobody to enforce it, people are still parking on them.
I live directly opposite the school and to get out of my drive is an absolute nightmare with the parking situation. We need a warden there at dropping-off times, etc.
