With the dismissal of Helioslough's appeal for the Park Street aerodrome site and the upholding of its Green Belt status, I can think of no better location in the district than the Park Street site for the creation of a new native woodland. Perhaps the Woodland Trust could also use its energies to raise funds for the purchase of this site where it could actually make a contribution to the improvement of the quality of our environment, rather than sacrificing 850 acres of well-kept, productive and attractive farmland.
