SIR, - The exploits of Itsy Bitsy Spider have concerned your readers for some weeks now but the correspondence has missed out on one important point.
In defending the policies of St Albans Central Library, a Herts County Council employee wrote that it was the busiest in the county and becoming busier. Well, yes - but might not the closure of two branch libraries last year have some itsy bitsy connection? Cramming more and more users into a limited space is bound to result in friction.
