SIR - I was very surprised to read Stewart Lee (pictured above) state in your interview that he has not played the Alban Arena before (Herts Advertiser November 5). I remember a night in the mid nineties when about 12 people showed up to the Lee and Herring show which was a tad embarrassing for all involved! I understand that Mr Lee may have erased such a memory from his mind but we who paid to attend will never forget! Hopefully this visit to St Albans proved more memorable!
