A businessman from St Albans has received an award from the National Farm Attractions Network (NFAN) for his years of work at his activity farm.

Andrew Wolfe, 54, has run Willows Activity Farm on Coursers Road since 2002, was given a standing ovation as he picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NFAN Chairman, Colin Evans. The awards ceremony was held at the association’s annual conference in Brighton on Wednesday, February 1.

Mr Evans said: “Andrew Wolfe has been a father figure to many in the industry, offering his experience and advice and inviting countless numbers of farm park operators to visit his operation at Willows.

“He has been an active member of the NFAN committee for many years and his input will be greatly missed.”

Mr Wolfe, who runs the farm with his wife, Anna, said: “Willows owes its success to the fantastic team of staff who strive to excel day in day out, and who make Willows the special place that it is.”
