SIR - I thought I'd use the Herts Advertiser to thank whoever has finally completed the missing lower part of the road sign going north on Bluehouse Hill towards the Redbourn Road/Verulam Road roundabout.
The new section of the sign, which has been missing for some time, shows a direction arrow to the left of A 5183 and to the right of A 5183. There's also a new brown tourist sign pointing towards the right, with no words associated with it. Not very helpful in my honest opinion.
May I suggest some words which might complement the new sign, such as for the left directional arrow Redbourn/M1 and City Centre/St Albans Abbey for the right arrow.
