SIR, - On approaching a traffic warden in St Albans city centre last week, I asked if there could be one around Camp School in Camp Road, St Albans, in the morning and when the children come out of school in the afternoon. I was told it wasn't allowed in the mornings but there was one around Cecil Road between 1pm and 3pm. I said this wasn't Camp School area but got no joy. It is very dangerous there in the mornings and afternoons with parking on the pavements, parking on double yellow lines and in the entrance to The Organ Theatre which is private property. Does there have to be a really nasty accident before anyone takes any notice? C.A. YATES, Wellington Road, St Albans.
