What’s special/different about your agency?
Frost’s is beyond doubt a remarkable market leading estate agency in this area thanks to David and Mary Frost’s hard work and total dedication to serving customers well for over 20 years and always trying to improve and do something so that we’re even better next year, although they’ve retired now I never forget that heritage.

I live with my partner in Rickmansworth – similar in some ways to St Albans much smaller though and ultimately I think St Albans is nicer, better shops, restaurants and all round facilities – great cinema now as well.

Location, location, location what did you expect? I’m an estate agent to the core after all. I guess the age of the property too, I usually prefer older, my current home is 1930s, as the size of the main rooms and the gardens tended to be more generous in that era.
If you weren’t a buying agent, what would you be?
I have been in estate agency for nearly 30 years so it’s a tough question. I have always been fascinated by business and helping people and companies achieve their goals, it was the motivation behind completing a Masters in Business Administration, so I don’t know management consultant perhaps?
When did you buy your first property and what was it like?
I bought a one bedroom ground floor conversion with a share of the Garden part of a beautiful Edwardian property in Muswell Hill N10, it was just off the Broadway close to Alexandra Palace, we used to walk up there and watch the fireworks on bonfire night. I bought it for £66,000 in 1993 and I really wished I could have found a way to keep the property, it would have been a fabulous investment over the years.
What’s your dream house?
Oh god, how can an estate agent have just one dream house? I guess if money was no object I would love to live in Cubitt’s Eaton Square or perhaps in one of Nash’s Park Crescents in Regents Park, something with character and history.
