With St Albans and Harpenden known well for its catalogue of resident celebrity sporting icons - Owen Farrell, Chris Ashton, Jack Wilshere, Alan Smith and Mark Foster to name a few - it would seem that Savills’ new property service will often be utilised in this part of Hertfordshire.

The newly formed team will coordinate and manage all property requirements covering UK and international sales and lettings, residential development, interior services, financing, commercial property and auctions.

This is an innovative service - its the first of its kind in the property industry, building on Savills’ existing track record with sports professionals. The idea is to provide a discreet service, ensuring all discussions are totally confidential, free from hassle, and from the unwanted attention that public figures might receive when house hunting.

Trevor Kearney, Director, said, “A dedicated and bespoke service for global sports professionals was missing in the market place. Given Savills’ wealth of experience with high profile sports clients and their agents, our new Sports Services team will be perfectly placed to secure family homes, overseas properties and real estate investments that form part of wider portfolios on behalf of high profile sports professionals globally.”
