SIR, - Is closing Barley Mow Lane really the answer (Herts Advertiser, July 24 and 31) or is it just compensating for a system which is broken? If there is so much trouble in the area then there should be a large police presence. No, they are more than likely too busy harassing normal car drivers.
The youths think that they can get away with murder because they can!
