SIR - To the anonymous letter-writer re: London Colney Mosque.

First they came for the Muslims,

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Muslim.

Then they came for the asylum-seekers,

And I did not speak out

Because I was not an asylum-seeker.

Then they came for the immigrants,

And I did not speak out

Because I was not an immigrant.

Then they came for the underclass,

And I did not speak out

Because I was not part of the underclass.

Then they came for me,

And there was no one left

To speak out for me.
