SIR - I moved close by to the city in 1968 and into St Albans itself in 1976. I have periodically looked at what was on offer at the Maltings Arts Theatre, and always decided no, usually because I was not attracted to anything.
I have always wondered why I never found any event attractive (or convenient) in 40 years. I think the same applies to all of my family. I notice that my local rates are paying for the losses.
