SIR, - Re the Big V sculpture proposed to be sited in Verulamium Park - does anyone else recall the monstrous lump of stone, bought by the council and situated outside the Arena for quite a huge sum of money?
In no time at all vandals had lit a fire in it and the last time I saw it, it was sitting unloved and neglected under the trees beside Caf� Nero.
