SIR, — I am outraged by the treatment meted out to Dr Christine Voyce (Herts Advertiser, January 29). Why should this presumably-busy doctor be subjected to this Stalin-like inquisition? Instead of having to deal with petty-minded bureaucracy, she should
SIR, - I am outraged by the treatment meted out to Dr Christine Voyce (Herts Advertiser, January 29). Why should this presumably-busy doctor be subjected to this Stalin-like inquisition? Instead of having to deal with petty-minded bureaucracy, she should be allowed to pursue her job which, at any moment in time, all members of the public may urgently need.
I am aware that many selfish, conniving people do abuse the increasingly-authoritarian parking restrictions. However I think that this blue-clothed organisation should be trained in common sense and their managers likewise.
Please can our St Albans District Councillors see to this matter. Does anyone else agree?
