SIR, - Having read your article headlined "Last call for flights (Herts Advertiser, May 8), on the advice of Cllr Judy Shardlow I looked on the internet www.consultation.nats.co.uk
If the proposed changes are made, AL5 1BP will be overflown by many more flights, mostly it seems coming to/from Northolt. Last weekend was perfect weather to be in the garden but the birdsong was drowned out by aircraft noise. As one left our air space another entered.
What happened to the peace Harpenden enjoyed when we first moved here 36 years ago?
I urge people to look at the maps in the consultation and where appropriate register their concerns.
