SIR - We are at the junction of three of the busiest motorways in the country and on the flightpath for three airports. We have to drive to most places because of inadequate public transport and shopping centres located out of town.
We live in one of the most densely populated parts of the UK and what's left of our green spaces are being systematically paved over to satisfy government targets for new housing. The roads are largely unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists.
Surprise, surprise - we have high C02 emissions (Herts Advertiser, September 4).
