SIR, - I guess we should be grateful that life is so peaceful in St Albans and Harpenden that a healthy female, having a normal delivery, and giving birth to a healthy baby can make the headline article in the local newspaper.
One could even argue that teenage pregnancy is at least topical - but hardly cause for celebration.
I can understand the paper wanting to give us an up-beat article rather than focusing on crime, job losses and road repairs, but come on Herts Advertiser, surely you could have found a story about a more positive role model to inspire us all.
