SIR - I am disappointed to see that Herts County Council sees fit to advertise the library. Of the people who might be interested, I guess that 99 per cent know there are "free" libraries (paid for through our council tax). Why in these hard times is our money being spent on these adverts? This will increase our taxes still further.
