SIR,- Having read two letters in your newspaper of "happy endings", I though I would have one more go to find my gold wrist watch which I lost on Thursday, August 14. I have retraced my steps of that day and informed the police, with no luck.
Sadly the watch was given to me by my now-departed husband on my 80th birthday. I would obviously reward anyone finding it.
Dare I hope?
