SIR, - Last Wednesday, June 25, my husband and I went to St Albans on the bus and unfortunately had only been there 20 minutes when I fell over and broke my wrist.
Can I, through your newspaper, thank the many people who came to my assistance including a council man with a mobile phone, Neil the paramedic who was caring, and a lovely lady who stayed with us and was such a comfort to me until I was taken to hospital. People are so very kind and it makes you realise in spite of all you read, England is a lovely place to live and English people second to none. Thank you all so much.
MRS S.A. CREASEY,
Suncote Close, Dunstable.
