SIR, - May I thank the kind shoppers and stallholders who came to my daughter's assistance when I fainted in St Peter's Street, St Albans, last Saturday lunchtime.
Someone called an ambulance which arrived very quickly and one gentleman, who said he was a first aider, offered his assistance.
I'm pleased to say I'm now recovered but thank you all once again.
