SIR - I recently came across a letter you printed several years ago asking why the Alban Way is not lit up.
This reamins a valid criticism, but I suppose it is the same mentality as is now being shown with the refusal to make the pavements a safer place in the conditons we have been suffering whereby we could fall over and break our necks - not to mention cyclists, cycle paths and side roads.
The council spends so much money patting itself on the back for how well it is doing in its leaflets - well, the decision-makers do not impress me.
